"The Oxbow Report” is a fast paced read that combines the techno-thriller of a Tom Clancy novel, the headlines of current day newspapers and the pages of Biblical prophecy. Mike Purington has taken these components and more to bring to his readers a gripping novel. The excitement grabs you from the first chapter; the events keep you turning the pages and the characters keep you enthralled in the plot. You will find yourself living between the lines of the text as you identify with the characters. But most important is the real life message woven into the novel; the message of redemption and hope. When you finish the last page, you will start looking for the next book in the series. Rick White - Pastor CFWC
I am looking forward to the next book in the series. The first book was an intriguing blend of Biblical fact and historical fiction with futuristic and past scientific principals woven in with an abstract imagination all the way to the final sentance, leaving the reader in suspense and with an anticipation for what is to come. John Bohrer - Engineer

I had the privilege of reading and helping in the editing of “The Oxbow Report.” I found it to be in the same class as “Monster” and “The Last Guardian.” In this novel the author takes you on an epic journey using the technology of man in an attempt to solve an age old question. This is a tale of love, of mystery, of an age old evil, and the mystery of the gospel that is not pushy or presumptuous, once you pick it up you won’t be able to put it down; this is Christian fiction at its best. Mary Elizabeth - Music Major
